In Act Three, the problems start getting worse, and the risks of destroying the world get bigger. Everything is already a mess, but an evil witch fights to make everything more difficult for Albus and Scorpius. However, Scorpius is still in a world ruled by Voldemort and he has to fix that.

Scorpius walks into the potion classroom and finds Severus Snape (potion teacher). Scorpius is surprised by Snape's presence since he is dead in the real world. Suddenly, Scorpius has an idea, he knows about Snape being allied with Dumbledore. Therefore, he could convince him to help him get out of the school, and use the time turner to go back to the real world. Scorpius starts talking to Snape about the real world, and how he had come from it using a time turner. Snape is astonished by this, and he immediately takes Scorpius through a trapdoor that leads them to a hidden room in the roots of the "Whomping Willow". Hermione and Ron are in the room, they are the last rebels that still attempt to fight against Voldemort. They talked about the real world that Scorpius had lived in all his life, and how to get it back. The four magicians decide to go back in time, and block the spells that Scorpius and Albus had casted on Cedric. After having some trouble with the dementors (flying creatures that suck your soul) that killed Snape, Hermione, and Ron. Scorpius is able to block the spells. Snape is already dead in the real world, therefore it does not matter at all. However, Hermione and Ron are alive, but since this is a different reality it does not matter either. It is only Scorpius who has to survive since he had come from a different reality. Since Scorpius is still alive, and he blocked the spells, the world is back at its normal state.

Everything seemed to be going fine; Scorpius and Albus are now back together, Harry is alive, and Hermione and Ron are married again. Scorpius and Albus are about to stop any risk of ruining the world by destroying the time turner, when suddenly Delphi appears next to them. Delphi takes the time turner with ease, uses a spell on the two boys to immobilize them, and snaps their wands in half. She then takes them with her to the quidditch pitch where the third task of the Triwizard Tournament takes place. She travels back in time with them and now they are in a maze with hedges closing up upon them. Delphi tries to force the kids to stop Cedric, who is running somewhere in the maze to fulfill a prophecy that would darken the world, but the kids resist. The time turner starts spinning and all three of them travel in time somewhere that only Delphi knows about. Delphi crushes the time turner, and whatever year they are in, they are stuck in time.

Meanwhile in the present, Harry, Ginny, Hermione, Ron, and Draco visit Amos' house. Amos tells them that he never had a niece, the magicians realize that Delphi must have casted some spell on him to make him think that she is his niece. They go to Delphi's room and inspect it, and they soon find that by simply unscrewing a lightbulb off a lamp, secret writings on the walls appear. These writings state that Delphi is Voldemort's daughter.
