One Last Effort: Act Four

During Act Four, the action gets to an end. However, this act is full of intense moments and scenes that will make the reader extremely gripped to the end of the book.

Albus and Scorpius are still stuck in time; they know that they cannot fight Delphi alone. Therefore, they have to find a way to contact their parents through time. The two boys are right in front of Harry's old house in Godric's Hollow; by reading a sign, they realize that this was the year that Voldemort had tried to kill Harry when he was a baby. Albus and Scorpius are thinking hard on a way to contact the adults through time. Suddenly, Albus has an idea, it's desperate but it can work. He remembers the day that he had a fight with Harry, he had thrown Harry's blanket and it had collided with Ron's love potion. This blanket is Harry's since he was a baby. Therefore, Albus knew that he could find it here. Albus also knew that there was a certain ingredient that burnt when it came in contact with Pearl Dust, and the love potions are mostly made out of Pearl Dust. Nobody had touched that blanket since the day that he and his father had a fight, which means that it is still wet from the love potion. If only they could find that ingredient that would burn through the blanket, he could write a message on it. All of a sudden, Harry's mom and Dad come out with baby Harry in a pram. Albus communicates his idea to Scorpius, who agrees to give it a go. The boys manage to steal the blanket from baby Harry and bust in a witch's shop that had closed years ago. Luckily, the shop still had all sorts of magical objects in it. Albus and Scorpius steal some wands, and the ingredient that burned through Pearl Dust (named Tincture of Demiguise). They boys write a message on the blanket with Tincture of Demiguise, and quietly give the blanket back to baby Harry without being noticed by the parents. Now, Albus and Scorpius can do nothing but wait.

Meanwhile in the present...

Draco comes to visit Harry's office in the Ministry. He shows Harry a time turner that his father kept as part of his collection of dark magic objects. Harry is surprised, but says it is useless since they do not know what year Albus and Scorpius are in, nor what place. They both talk until it is time for Harry to go home. When Harry arrives, he goes to Albus' room where he finds the blanket full of holes. At first, he is heartbroken, but then he sees the message on it. He quickly notifies Ginny, Draco, Hermione, and Ron about the message. He also tells them to meet at Godric's Hollow. Once they are all together, they quickly travel back in time to the year stated in the message. They are full of happiness when they see Albus and Scorpius, and they hug and greet the kids. Even though they are extremely happy, they have to get ready for Delphi and they know that. They all prepare, wait and think of a plan. When Delphi finally arrives, Harry leads her to a church where everybody else is waiting. Once Delphi is in the church, an epic fight takes place in which Delphi is defeated. They all travel back to the present, send Delphi to Azkaban (jail for wizards and witches), and live their normal lives once again.
